  1. Politics get scapegoated too often. I think the blame of psychopathy
should only be initiated when something inhumane and easily avoidable is
    committed…

  2. Interesting I’ve come to the same conclusion when pondering why people and
corporations do the cruel things they do without feeling any remorse. I’m
not so sure that someone else sees it the same way, a daunting situation to
    say the least.

  3. The guest is a ridiculous fool who doesn’t understand human nature and
history. There are zillions of false prophets in the end of times.

  4. I view psychopathy as a natural adaptation of for survivalism- but only for
when uninhibited by a better judgement. If Steve is hungry, he might want
to cannabalize you… but his intelligence (if existent) should hopefully
deter him from such an extreme apathetic tangent. Culture- and people
resultantly- are adapting these survivalist traits and sometimes I bet they
    go a little too far.

This is one of your worse guests. White lies are lies last time I checked.
Reason w/o faith is just as lame as Faith w/o reason. I’m disappointed in
    this video.

  6. It’s amazing how we are manipulated into killing each other. It’s crazy
man. they manufacture a conflict then they say, look we need to protect
our freedom. We go for it every time. We do things under their leadership
that we would never do with our own moral character. We forfeit our
    morality for what???

The Psychopath Under the Bed – PART TWO

With disdain I will throw my gauntlet
Full in the face of the world,
And see the collapse of this pygmy giant
Whose fall will not stifle my ardour.
Then will I walk godlike and victorious
Through the ruins of the world
And giving my words an active force,
I will feel equal to the Creator.

This past week ABC News broke the story that hackers connected to the
Russian government are suspected of inserting malware in computers that
control American power plants and water treatment systems.

This malware is capable of crippling U.S. utilities. Such a monstrous act
    of sabotage would not only be an act of war, it would be a monstrous crime;
for the victims would be average people, targeted merely for their
nationality. Why would the Russian government do such a thing?

For those who have studied the character of the Russian government, the
    answer is simple. This sort of action is what the Russian government does;
for Russia is governed by a system with no effective checks or balances,
where power is concentrated in a few hands. And wherever such a
concentration of power exists, there you shall find great crimes and great
criminals – that is to say, psychopaths.

Burckhardt once wrote that “power is evil,” and Lord Acton warned that
“power corrupts.” The Framers of the U.S. Constitution believed that only a
system of checks and balances can prevent the worst from happening. From
historical experience, we know that this is the only kind of system that
    produces good results.

These results are not perfect, but they are the best that men have devised,
and they are the best that can – in practice – be devised for safeguarding
life and property. When you do not have a system of working checks and
balances, life and property are not safe.

This is the character of the Russian government, and will be the character
of the United States government if our system of checks and balances
    continues to break down.
In 1991, when the Soviet Union collapsed, a proper system of checks and
balances was never set up. Power remained concentrated in a few hands. The
government was not really accountable to anyone.

Despite this underlying reality, everything was arranged so that it all
appeared to be moving in the direction of democratic capitalism and proper
checks and balances, but nothing of the kind ever happened. The objective
of making the changes in the first place was to fool the West. This
conclusion, by the way, is not my own.

It is the conclusion of Yevgenia Albats, the famous Russian journalist.
From first to last, the old gang was still there and everything was
organized for the advantage of the Central Committee’s chosen instruments
(e.g., certain KGB officers and “former” apparatchiks).
The problem of today’s Russia goes back to 1917, when the country was taken
over by gangsters who called themselves “communists.” We must not be naïve
about the idealistic terms the Russian communists used to describe their
    “mission.”

They murdered, they stole, and they oppressed the Russian people, and the
Ukrainian people, and the people of Central Asia and the Caucasus, etc. The
communists made themselves into a new ruling class under Stalin and his
    successors.

As such, the system was an enormous criminal enterprise in which tens of
millions of innocent people were killed.

  8. Vertstappen’s video and book caused me to start studying psychopaths,
particularly regarding those in power. He’s dead on. What’s interesting is
that people need to take psychological tests to get into the military,
police, and many of the bureaucracies, but not to get into politics. It
seems to me that if the minions need to be tested to weed out the worst
mental cases, then this should be even more true for the politicians,
generals, and senior bureaucrats. Sure some will still get through, no test
is perfect and psychopaths are experts at hiding what they are, but as soon
as they reveal themselves they should be removed from office.

If humanity doesn’t start keeping psychopaths away from power then this
    cycle of misery will continue.

  9. as long as ppl want to win at all cost (wanting to win is human nature)
    psychopaths will win (like financial)
because that is the psychopath’s game winning at all cost
only way to fight that is have more ppl being moral and be able to take the
fact that the ppl not being moral will win
when wallstreet banks and politicians all promoting the opposite makes this
    a lot harder

This interview primarily identifies psychopathy from the point of view of
the individual –however, just as with the example of Survivor… while
emphasis is placed upon the one ultimate winning psychopath…. leading up
to that there is indeed a supporting structure, (both on & off camera)
there is organization that promotes these specific qualities. The winner of
Survivor is not all there is to the show. The show goes on, there is
marketing, syndication, next season, etc… just like politics.

  12. The truly civilized thing to do with a violent criminal is to convict them
for their crimes, sentence them to prison, keep them there, and treat them
humanely. If they become violent towards other prison detainees, then
seclude them. Based on what I’ve read about the death penalty in the US,
besides the fact that it’s flawed, for innocent and relatively innocent
people have been wrongly judged, well, is the apparent fact that it’s more
costly. So taxpayers would surely prefer just imprisonment

superstitious at all but you seem to hold on to some very fairy tail like
ideas of scientific dogma. You obviously don’t know very much about
determinants, particle function and wave function, the reaction of
observation so on the entire quantum physics model has destroyed old
paradigms of limited material dialectical thought. The world of closed
system thinking is a big contributor to the degradation of the world.
